I have been a Pharmacist for nearly 4 decades but I work at Cashmere Health in a new and exciting role as a Health Coach. Some of the things I can help with include smoking cessation, sleep strategies, health eating for weight loss or weight gain, lowering cholesterol and improving diabetes.
Exercise is really important and there is something for everyone including seated options. I can help you find an activity that is fun and suitable for your needs. Social connection is a well recognised requirement for well-being so I like to help people find classes or groups that are fun and friendly.
Appointments with me are free and are about 20 minutes long. I work on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays. I also work as a support worker and sometimes visit patients in their homes where we look at a variety of things such as medication management, falls prevention, medical alarms and much more.
My passions include cooking, home yoga and walking. My husband and I have a Border Collie so we do a lot of walking! We have 3 adult children, 2 girls in NZ and a son in Berlin.
