Dr Rebecca Nicholls

I studied Zoology at Canterbury University then medicine at Auckland University, graduating from medicine in 1997. I undertook GP specialist training in Christchurch and set up Cashmere Health as a new practice in 2006. I also work with the health system to create systems that aim to function well for patients and clinicians. I have undertaken further training in Rainbow health and offer PrEP and Gender affirming care.

I enjoy the wide variety of work that general practice brings and I believe that good general practice is about developing meaningful relationships. As I am managing a chronic illness I dont have a patient list but work part time to support my colleagues have much needed time off.

I am a keen gardener and, with my family, we are rewilding a perfect piece of Banks Peninsula.
