ECG
An ECG is a very common procedure often carried out after a patient has had unusual chest pain or dizziness
Designed to record the electrical signals associated with your heart beat it can chart or graph useful information for your doctor to determine what may be causing your symptoms
The procedure
- Small electrodes are placed on your arms, legs and chest while you lie still
- The procedure lasts between 5-10 minutes
- No electricity is put into your body
- You wil not experience any pain or discomfort

- Causes of chest pain, dizziness, fainting and shortness of breath
- How meds are impacting on your heart
- How pacemakers and other devices are working to assist a heart to function
