Repeat Prescriptions
A “repeat prescription” service is available to enrolled patients whose medical conditions are stable and unlikely to cause complications or side effects. This service is at the discretion of your doctor and is usually discussed with your doctor at a previous appointment.
For your wellbeing a consultation with your doctor is required at least every six months to review your medication. There is an exception for contraception, where it may be possible to provide a repeat prescription for 6 months.
Your doctor may wish to see you rather than issuing a prescription for conditions requiring close monitoring, or if your medication was changed at the last visit. We will contact you by text or phone if an appointment with your doctor is needed or if we require any further information to issue the prescription.
How do I order my repeat prescription?

3 You can also phone us on (03) 332 1351 with your urgent prescription request. Please itemise each of your medications in your request. Do not request “All my usual medications.”
Charges
The prescription charge is to cover the time it takes to check and generate your prescription, and includes nurse, doctor and administration components. Please note, some pharmacies may have their own charges for dispensing a prescription.
Please allow 72 hours for a repeat prescription – so order before you need it!
- Standard repeat prescriptions for anyone over 18 years of age – $25.00
- Urgent repeat prescriptions for anyone over 18 years of age, required the same day, if ordered before 1pm – $35.00
- Standard repeat prescriptions for anyone 14 -17 years of age – $14.00-$17.00
- Urgent repeat prescriptions for anyone 14 -17 years of age, required the same day, if ordered before 1pm – $24.00 – $27.00
- Standard repeat prescriptions for anyone under 14 years of age – $7.50
- Urgent repeat prescriptions for anyone under 14 years of age, required the same day, if ordered before 1pm – $17.50
Payment
Prescriptions ordered over the phone will be emailed an account. Payment can be made online and is expected within 3 days. Our bank account no: 012 3494 0017884 00. Please enter your name and date of birth as a reference.
Enrolled patients can order repeat prescriptions via the patient portal, ManageMyHealth. Prescriptions ordered via ManageMyHealth require pre-payment.
